Community Discord Rules

Community and Discord conduct follows the same respect standard as in-city roleplay.

Introduction

Welcome to Take One RP, a serious roleplay community dedicated to creating an immersive and enjoyable environment for all players. The following rules are established to maintain order, fairness, and high-quality roleplay. It is your responsibility to familiarize yourself with these rules and stay informed about any updates. If you have questions or require clarification, please open a ticket in our Discord, where our staff will be happy to assist you.

Discipline System

The discipline system at Take One RP is designed to ensure compliance with our rules and maintain a respectful, immersive roleplay environment. Disciplinary actions may include, but are not limited to:

1. Verbal Warning: A verbal reminder of the rules and expectations.

2. Written Warning: A formal written warning documenting the rule violation.

3. Temporary Removal: Temporary removal from the game and/or voice chats to de-escalate a situation.

4. Suspension: Suspension from accessing Take One servers for up to 90 days, depending on the severity of the offense.

5. Department Removal: Removal from any in-game departments or positions if the violation impacts your role within that department.

6. Re-Training: Mandatory retraining for in-game or staff positions to ensure understanding and compliance with server rules.

7. Demotion: Demotion from any in-game or staff position due to rule violations or poor performance.

8. Strikes:

  • Minor Strike: A minor strike will be recorded and remain on your record for 60 days.
  • Major Strike: A major strike is more severe and remains on your record indefinitely.

9. Permanent Ban: A permanent ban from all Take One RP Discords, servers, and in-game activities for serious or repeated violations.

Additional Discipline Notes

  • Combat Logging: Combat logging disrupts roleplay and will result in a mandatory 48-hour suspension from the city.
  • Meta Gaming: Meta gaming undermines the integrity of roleplay. If caught, you will face a suspension ranging from 24 to 72 hours.
  • Ticket Handling: Rule break tickets must be submitted as high-staff tickets. Proof must include 2 minutes before and after the incident. If proof is not provided within 30 minutes, the ticket will be closed, and you will be advised to roleplay the situation out. This policy is designed to prevent "He said, she said" scenarios. If you need assistance setting up recording software, please open a support ticket. The staff team reserves the right to adjust disciplinary actions based on the severity of the offense. After receiving three strikes, long-term suspensions or permanent bans may be imposed. Appeals can only be submitted with viable evidence, and bans from Take One RP are not eligible for appeal.

18. General Conduct

The following general conduct rules apply to all players in Take One RP:

  • Respect and Maturity: All players are expected to behave respectfully and maturely towards each other, both in and out of character.
  • Respect towards female players: There is a zero tolerance policy for any type of disrespect towards females. This includes messaging them in discord, following them around like a lost puppy in the city, calling them anything other than their name,etc. If you wouldn't talk to your mother/grandmother/auntie/daughter that way, do not talk to anyone here that way. This will result in a insta/perma ban.
  • Cheating and Exploits: The use of cheats, exploits, or any unauthorized software to gain an advantage in the game is strictly prohibited and will result in immediate banning.
  • Reports and Tickets: Players who witness rule violations should report them through the appropriate ticket system, providing any necessary evidence to support their claim.
  • Server Rules: Players must adhere to all server rules and guidelines. Ignorance of the rules is not an excuse for violations.
