Streamer/Content Rules
Take One RP is streamer-focused, so content conduct is part of the core rulebook.
3. Meta Gaming
Meta gaming is the act of using OOC information to gain an unfair advantage in the game. This behavior is strictly prohibited as it disrupts the integrity of roleplay:
- Definition: Meta gaming involves using information obtained from outside the game (e.g., streams, Discord conversations) to influence in-game actions.
- Examples of Meta Gaming:
- Utilizing information from live streams or Discord chats to make in-game decisions.
- Discussing OOC knowledge in IC conversations.
- Communicating with other players via third-party applications (e.g., Discord calls) during in-game scenarios.
- Sharing information between your own characters across different storylines. Disciplinary Action: If caught meta gaming, you will face a suspension ranging from 24 to 72 hours, depending on the severity of the offense.
10. Toxicity and Streamer Conduct
Take One RP fosters a positive and welcoming environment for all players, including streamers:
- Respectful Behavior: Toxic behavior, including harassment, bullying, and discrimination, is strictly prohibited. All players must treat each other with respect, both in-game and out-of-game.
- Stream Sniping: Stream sniping (watching another player's stream to gain an advantage in the game) is strictly prohibited. Violators will face immediate suspension or banning.
- Content Sharing: Streamers are encouraged to share their content, but must avoid sharing any server-specific exploits, glitches, or meta-gaming content.
